Labor Day Weekend in the Mendocino Woodlands
Friday, September 1st – Monday, September 4th, 2023

Winding down a dusty dirt road, deep into the Coastal Redwoods of the Mendocino Woodlands, you will find a beautiful place to BE… where people are happy to welcome you for who you are, not what you are… where you are encouraged to be and let be… where you are included in the Family, not despite who you are, but because of who you are… a place where it is safe for kids to be kids. Welcome to the warmth of the woods in early September and the warmth of community. Welcome to Labor Day Camp.

Childcare, Workshops, and Activities
Labor Day Camp is different from our Family Camp in structure. There is no formal childcare or workshops activities offered at Labor Day Camp. Campers are encouraged to bring workshops and activities to share.
Volunteer Staff
Other than the Dean/s, Registrar, and Head Cook, the only volunteer staff at Labor Day Camp work in the kitchen as cooks and dishwashers to make the magic happen and bring our legendary meals to the community table.
Cooperative Community
Labor Day Camp relies on the cooperation of the community to assist in chores, activities, workshops, setting up camp, and packing camp back away. The community spirit of Labor Day Camp is rooted in the Seven Unitarian Universalist principles and our 50+ year legacy of hosting our camps in the Mendocino Woodlands.
Registration opens Late July…
